  • You have a client base of 20 to 1000 clients
  • The hosting aspect of your business is profitable in its own right
  • Your clients’ websites are built using predominately LAMP technologies
  • Current hosting arrangements are in good working order
  • You maintain all licenses and control all domain names pertaining to your web hosting business
  • You are a registered Australian business that serves predominately Australian clients

We are not interested in purchasing the following:

  • Existing debts associated with your business
  • Businesses that promote ultra-cheap web hosting services
  • Businesses that are not in a sound financial position
  • ASPs such as forum hosting providers, or web-mail providers
  • Any hosting business providing illegal or adult content

What is my business worth?

The process of valuing a website hosting business is not simple. You may find that some aspects of your business which seem of little value to you are of great use to us. Conversely you may also find that something that took you years to build is in fact of little use to another business.

What constitutes fair compensation depends on many factors including:

  • How many clients do you have?
  • How long have you been serving them?
  • What services do you provide to them?
  • How much and how you are you billing them?
  • Who are your clients?
  • What is your relationship with your clients like?
  • What technology was used to build your clients’ websites?
  • Where are your clients’ sites hosted?
  • What sorts of agreements are in place between you and your clients?
  • What infrastructure does your business own (if any)?
  • How profitable is the hosting aspect of your business?

What we offer to pay for your business will depend on these and other factors.
