The E prefix has spread from the term e-mail to various other forms of human enterprise that relate to the internet or cyber form of the physical format. As we progress in the internet world more and more physical items are being digitized for the web and appropriately named according to the E prefix. Examples of this include e-books, e-tickets and many more.
