Email Bounce - Soft

WebDynamic Web Glossary

An email address that is rejected by the receiving server for a reason that is most likely temporary in nature (examples include the recipient's mailbox is full, the server etc) even though it recognizes the address. Soft bounces are valid email addresses and should be mailed to unless they become a hard bounce.

Most email service providers will attempt to deliver the email regulary for a few days, however if undelivered it becomes a hard bounce.
