Backgrounds

A back ground of a webpage is the image of the page which is designed to appear on the backspace of the webpage. It is designed by web designer to compliment the main text or the image in the foreground.

With the advent of internet, marketing online became an integral part of internet marketing strategy. Almost every business these days has its website. This has given rise to a new class of professionals called website designers. In its true sense, a good background is not a necessity in the sense that a web site can exist without a proper background. But the reason why a web designer insists on a good background has a couple of reasons associated with it.

The first reason why a web designer designs a good background is to make the website appealing. It is not the content that creates the first impression of a website. When a user logs in to your website, the first thing he sees is your background. If the web designer fails to create an impression from the looks of the website, he might drive away some of the users. The web designer must use an appealing color combination that suits the design pattern of your site. It is not only about the colors used. The web designer must also take care of the background images. These images must go with the theme of the website.

If you are on a big budget, the web designer can also add a background sound when the pages load so as to make the website more interactive. As a web designer, you can even consider including sounds when user clicks on the buttons or navigates from one page to another. These sounds can also make the site user friendly. Alternately, you can even think of adding animations in the background. What types of animations add will depend on the merit and the creativity of the web designer. This is also a consideration in newsletter design. For the strongest email newsletter design, often companies find that email marketing software is useful.

Another key purpose of the background is to make the fore text easily readable. Whenever user accesses a website, he wants it to be done conveniently without facing any hardships. A web designer has to take care of these things and design a website that is pleasing to eye. Certain text colors go with only some certain background color. While choosing a background, the web designer must ensure that it is not too jazzy. He should also check if the text is easily readable with a particular background scheme. The web designer also has to take care of the complexity of the background. If he uses high resolution, the webpage might take time to load. This might frustrate the user. The web designer also has to take care of the age group and the niche of the website. If he is designing the site for kids, he should make the page more colorful. On the other hand, if the site is for some official purpose, the best background is a white colored or some other light color background.

It is the duty of the website developer to take care of all the above factors and then design the site.
