Dynamic URLs

Dynamic URLs are links that connect dynamic web pages and content. These URLs are displayed when the web search engines scans through its database about the relevant keywords. Dynamic uniform resource locator of the web pages consists of the information that helps in generating these pages in the automatic program. A dynamic URL generally consist of a normal URL which is followed by a ‘?’ and a parameter. Most of the search engines prefer static URL over dynamic URL as they are more trustworthy.

But this is not liked by the search engines as they might see a big series of web pages in the form of dynamic URL to the spiders. This type of search engine marketing is called a spider trap. At the same time some search engines allow dynamic URLs until the information is relevant and has sophisticated content.

As the number of dynamic web pages is increasing in order to have better search engine marketing for higher rankings, the usage of dynamic URL is also increasing. They are used for search engine marketing in order to increase web site traffic to their sites. They are actually addresses of the web pages within your site other than the home page. Dynamic URLs are not liked by the search engines as they create problems for indexing especially for duplicate content. One should try to avoid using them in their search engine marketing campaign because they trap the spiders into endless loop. Also the user might not like getting the same page for different URLs. Thus it all depends on the webmaster as how wisely he uses the dynamic URL for its search engine marketing.
