Favicon forms an integral part of web site design. Technically, favorite icon is just like any other icon used in website design. The difference lies in the place where a favicon is used. Once you have created a suitable icon for your site using any image editor software, import that icon using the icon editor software. Upload this icon to your browser. Once you have uploaded the icon, next time when you load the site, even the favicon gets loaded.
