Pay per sale is referred to as a technique in online advertising where the online advertiser has to pay the affiliate only when the click of a potential customer converts into a sale. Pay per sale is a technique that is very favorable for the publishers and the other affiliate advertisers because as compared to pay per click here they have to pay only when the click converts into a sale.

Like PPC it is also important in pay per sale to pay attention on the destination sites, the affiliate programs and the other factors apart from the quality and the quantity of potential customers that you get. The advertiser may be of the opinion that pay per sale may be less profitable than the pay per click technique. But then the point is that pay per sale may be more profitable for the advertiser as it would help the advertiser to lower down his advertising cost. Good and relevant inbound and outbound links etc. The search engine page ranking is also important. This is because if your website link appears in the top 10 results on the result page then there are chances that your link may be clicked upon. By this the purpose of pay per click gets solved. But then the catchy and relevant information can help the advertiser to convert the pay per click into a pay per sale.

Though pay per sale is a little risky than pay per click but then do not forget that in pay per click you may not be sure whether the visitor that has opted on to your site will actually buy your product or service that you or offering or then you will just have to pay the affiliate that has been decided which is known as pay per click. Hence it all depends upon the advertiser about what do they opt for because both pay per click as well as pay per sale are advantageous in one or the other way.
