A derivative of the term Business to Business, or B2B, the description Business to Governement (B2G) is used for transactions between a company and Government bodies and agencies.
The concept is that businesses and Government agencies can use central web sites to exchange information and do business with each other more efficiently than they would using other methods. The idea came from the US Government in its efforts to increase efficiency and increase its public relations efforts.
