There are two broad search engine optimisation strategies or approaches: organic and paid placement, or pay per click (PPC). An organic search throws up results based on a site's performance against complex keyword relevance criteria at no charge to website owners. On the other hand, a PPC search will display results based on the amount paid per click by each company to be represented in specific keyword listings.
