Clickable Image

A clickable image came into place through website development and is an image that can be activated using a computer mouse. The term can be used to refer to graphical buttons composed in website development in a graphical user interface. This graphical user interface used in website development can be found in Microsoft Windows or Apple's Mac OS X systems. When a mouse or other pointing device crosses over it, this unique website development initiates some action on the computer. Through website development technologies, any image that has instructions embedded in it so that clicking on it initiates some kind of action or result.

On a web page, a clickable image is any image that has a URL embedded in it. Website development has made it possible now to have everything from clickable image maps to clickable image text. Website development is changing the way products and services are advertised on the Internet with clickable images. Some reports conclude that through website development of the clickable image, that clickable image ads will increase your conversion by up to 500%. Clickable image ads can be very effective in posting ads on sites like Craigslist. Craigslist surfers go to tens and dozens of ads daily to buy a product to improve their lives.

To really stand up from the crowd you have to use image ads which thankfully were made through website development. Website development is still an unknown territory. The web is changing the very way we read and navigate and use click images for content and information. Effective website navigation is very important for your website and new technologies are being developed everyday. Through developments in website development, click images are not only two dimensional but also three dimensional. When it comes to website development, knowing what web users hate most is a must and then they work on coming up with a solution.

The terms website designer and website developer are used interchangeably in the media and advertisements. But, they are not the same thing. Design involves what the visitor sees on your website, development involves the site's functionality. Functionality includes all of the interactive aspects of a web site and includes animation. The common denominator is that programmers using the various web programming languages that work either on a web server or in a web browser create all of these functions. Flash can be used to animate graphics.

Perl, php and java are programming languages used on the web server to create sophisticated dynamic web pages. These pages can work independently but most commonly with a database to create all of the features we have come to expect from a website through website development. Unfortunately, there is a lot of overlap and integration needed between web design and web development. When you toss in content creation and usability testing, it becomes a real mess. Web development programmers create the functionality for the website, but all of that functionality must be integrated into the HTML pages on the site. Alternatively, the HTML content could also be integrated into the program. Web developers also do usability testing on the site, at least for the functionality they create. So the programmer also needs to have some HTML knowledge as well.
